The BBG in cooperation with the British Centres for Business(BCB) hosted a breakfast briefing with Ian Davis, Chairman of Rolls-Royce PLC.

In this breakfast briefing event, Ian gave his insights on the outlook forBritish companies in the region. In his role as a member of the British Chamberof Commerce’s International Trade Council, Ian is also exposed to Britain’s SMEbusiness community. Ian shared how British SMEs exporting need are beingdeveloped and supported in the UK.

Ian was a partner at McKinsey & Company for 31 yearsuntil 2010 and served as Chairman and Managing Director between 2003 and 2009.Now a Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey, and as well as Chairman ofRolls-Royce, Ian is a Non-Executive Director at Johnson & Johnson, BP PLCand Majid Al Futtaim Holdings. He is also a Non-Executive Board Member at theUK Cabinet Office and a Non-Executive Director of Teach for All.

 
Ian has a MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Balliol College, University of Oxford.
