BBG, in collaboration with 11 Dubai-based Business Councils, invite you to experience a joint Cultural Iftar at SMCCU in Al Bastakiya. 

Taking place in the wind-tower house in the heart of Al Fahidi District, the Historical Emirati neighbourhood, your evening begins with the Athan (the call to prayer) followed by the breaking of the fast with your Emirati hosts. Enjoy Arabic coffee and dates and then take a moment to watch your hosts pray, before a delicious array of Emirati dishes are served for Iftar. During the event, you are invited to ask any questions you may have about Ramadan, the culture of the traditions of the UAE. After Iftar, join us for a visit to the Diwan Mosque, before returning to SMCCU house.

Please note that dress code is modest.

Registration and payment before 13th May is mandatory. To register, please email [email protected]. Named members should register online as usual. Cancellations will be accepted until 11.59am on Saturday 11 May after when “no show fees” will apply.
