In the machinery of Government changes that followed the Brexit referendum the Department for International Trade (DIT) was created. Encompassing the work of what was formerly UKTI, of UK Export Finance, new work on Trade Policy, and other areas like the GREAT campaign, DIT is now charged with one of the most important tasks facing the UK Government; that of building up the UK’s trading relationships around the world for the period after the UK leaves the EU.
Come and hear a panel from the Embassy Chaired by HM Consul General Paul Fox and including leads for the region, investment and UKEF, discuss the work of DIT and what the Embassy DIT team is doing in the UAE, Dubai and Northern Emirates on 15 March at Jumeriah Beach Hotel.
There has been a lot of change, there is higher ambition that the UK Government is now attaching to trade work, and you can hear firsthand what new support is being offered to UK business.
