FollowingDubai’s successful bid to host the Expo 2020 a significant number of developmentprojects are now being launched. The event is expected to attract 25 millionvisitors and $23 billion worth of economic benefits to the UAE, and UK Tradeand Investment’s (UKTI) High Value Opportunity (HVO) programme has identifiedExpo 2020 Dubai as having significant potential for British companies.

TheUKTI’s HVO programme helps UK businesses access large scale overseas procurementprojects. It identifies opportunities as they become available and helpsbusinesses secure contracts.

Inthis breakfast event, David Kaye, UKTI UAE Lead Advisor and Regional ProjectLead for Expo 2020 Dubai, part of UKTI’s HVO, outlined Expo 2020’s impendingprojects and the opportunities for UK businesses.

David’spresentation covered the following topics:

Bio

DavidKaye is the UKTI UAE Lead Advisor for Financial & Professional Services andRegional Project Lead for Expo 2020 Dubai, part of UKTI’s High ValueOpportunity (HVO) programme.

Davidjoined UKTI in 2014 and is based in the British Embassy, Dubai.

Hehas previous experience within the financial services advisory sector at KPMGand as a Project Manager in the M&A and project financing industry. Beforehis professional career David studied Psychology at the University of Nottingham.
