As the UAE’s financial markets continue to thrive, the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) are witnessing a surge in initial public offerings (IPOs) activity.

With major companies like Lulu, Talabat, and Spinneys listing on the exchanges in recent years, 2025 is poised to be a pivotal year for IPOs in the region.

Join us for this exclusive BCCD Masterclass presented by The University of Manchester where we’ll delve into:

  • The current IPO landscape in the UAE
  • Unique opportunities for small investors to participate in IPOs - a rare advantage over markets like the UK
  • Future insights for both retail and institutional investors

This Masterclass will be led by Dr Arif Khurshed, Professor of Finance at The University of Manchester. Dr Arif also serves as Associate Head of Research for the Accounting & Finance Division at Alliance Manchester Business School. His research focuses on Corporate Finance, including IPOs, venture capital, payout policy, and trade credit. He is the author of The Mechanics and Performance of Initial Public Offerings.

Whether you’re an investor looking to navigate upcoming IPOs or a business considering a listing, this session will provide great insights into the trends, opportunities, and strategies for success in the UAE stock markets. Don’t miss out on understanding how you can capitalise on one of the world’s fastest-growing financial hubs!
